Pre-Order Terms & Privacy Notice

1. What this actually is

This page is a pre-order used to test whether enough people want an automated AI-visibility tracking service before we build it. The tracking service described on this page does not exist yet. If enough people pre-order, we will build it. If we decide not to, we will cancel every pre-order before any card is charged and email you to say so. You will not be asked again and you will not be charged.

2. Who you're dealing with

This offer is provided by MentionRate. Contact: hello@mentionrate.uk. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

3. Price, trial, and when you're charged

The price is £29/month. Checking out saves your card with Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your card number. You are not charged at checkout. Your card is first charged 14 days after checkout, and then monthly after that, unless you cancel before the 14 days are up.

Stripe emails you a reminder before that first charge, with a link to cancel in one click. You can also cancel any time by emailing hello@mentionrate.uk. Cancelling before the 14 days are up costs you nothing.

4. Refunds

If you're charged in error, or the product isn't delivered as described once it exists, email us for a full refund. If we decide not to build the product, every pre-order is cancelled before charging, so there's nothing to refund because nothing is taken.

5. What we collect and why

Name, email, and your answers to the AI Visibility Check are stored in a private database, used only to gauge demand and to contact you about this offer. We also record your IP address, approximate location, and device/browser type for the same purpose and to detect fake or spam submissions. Lawful basis: consent, given when you submit your details. Payment details are collected and processed entirely by Stripe, an independent controller. See stripe.com/privacy.

This page uses Microsoft Clarity to record anonymised session replays and click/scroll behaviour, so we can see where people get stuck. See Microsoft's privacy statement. It also uses the Reddit Pixel and the X (Twitter) Pixel to measure which ads led to a completed check, so we can tell whether advertising is working. We keep pre-order and quiz records while this validation test is active. If we don't proceed with the product, we delete or anonymise them within 90 days of that decision.

6. Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@mentionrate.uk. We'll act within one month. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
